Real-world examples

Land · a family farm plot

Scenario · A farmer registers a 6.4-acre rain-fed plot she inherited. She attaches the pattadar passbook PDF as documentation. Her neighbor (an established Verity wallet) endorses the listing after visiting. A local surveyor with a badged verifier profile endorses it a month later, tipping the tier from L2 to L3.

Outcome · A year later she sells to a co-op. The transfer completes via signed handoff, is anchored on-chain for a fraction of a cent, and the co-op wallet becomes the current holder. Her signed registration remains as a permanent record of her ownership history.

Real estate · a rental unit

Scenario · A small landlord registers a 2BHK apartment in a mixed-use building. He attaches the sale deed and property tax receipt. A property inspector with a verifier badge endorses after a walkthrough.

Outcome · An insurer reading Verity data through the future institutional API notices the L3 listing with a clean track record. They offer the landlord a discounted rental-loss policy priced against Verity's aggregated tier and dispute data.

Crop · a seasonal batch

Scenario · A groundnut farmer registers a 1.4-tonne harvest batch, attaching the aadhat's weighing slip and the storage warehouse's dock receipt. Three neighbouring farmers endorse.

Outcome · A buyer in the next state sees the L2 listing with fresh endorsements. Payment happens off-chain; the claim transfers to the buyer's wallet and the transfer is anchored so future audits can trace the batch.

Livestock · a dairy herd

Scenario · A dairy cooperative registers a 34-head herd, including ear-tag numbers, vaccination log URL, and lineage notes. The local veterinary inspector — a badged verifier — endorses after her monthly visit.

Outcome · When two cows are sold to another herd, a partial provenance record is recorded via linked child assets. The buyer sees the mother-herd lineage on the co-op's wallet profile.

Equipment · a used tractor

Scenario · A dealer registers a 2019 combine harvester with serial number SN 4820, service history PDF, and a photo. The mechanic who serviced it (an established but non-verifier wallet) endorses that the engine is in good condition.

Outcome · A prospective buyer clicks the 'Ask agent' button on the listing and gets a synthesized summary: 'Registered by a dealer with 12 prior sales, L2 tier, zero disputes, service history current. Looks credible.'

IP · a design trademark

Scenario · A designer registers a trademark filing under 'IP', attaching the registry filing PDF and a Behance link. Their attorney — with a verifier profile in category legal — endorses.

Outcome · A prospective licensee finds the L3 listing and reaches out. The licensor and licensee sign a claim transfer (representing the license grant, off-chain); the transfer is anchored so the licensee has independent proof of the grant date.

Collectible · a signed guitar

Scenario · A collector registers a signed 1968 Fender, with a photo of the signature and a certificate-of-authenticity URL from the auction house. Two collector-friends endorse.

Outcome · Fifteen years later, the collector's heir needs to prove ownership in probate. The signed Verity registration, dating back a decade and a half, is submitted as supporting evidence.
