Verity Protocol
Introduction

Overview

Verity Protocol is a public, permissionless registry for real-world assets. Anyone with a wallet can register a claim against any real thing — land, real estate, crops, livestock, equipment, commodities, collectibles, IP — and get a wallet-signed record that's anchored on-chain in the same transaction. Optionally, launch a tradable ERC-20 backed by the asset on the Portal.

The registration IS a transaction. There's no separate signature step or follow-up anchor tx — clicking Confirm & anchor in the register form pops your wallet for one call to the VerityAssetRegistrationV2 contract on your chosen chain. That single tx does two things atomically: anchors the claim on-chain, and mints a Verity Asset NFT to your wallet as the canonical ownership record.

The mental model

Think of Verity as WHOIS for real-world assets. Or as GitHub for signed provenance claims. Or as the base layer that other RWA services — insurers, lenders, marketplaces — will eventually read from.
